Terms of Service.
What the prices on this site mean, what happens before we arrive, and what governs the work. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
What the prices on this site mean, what happens before we arrive, and what governs the work. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
Prices on this site are honest ranges, not quotes — your real number comes from a free on-site visit, in writing, before anyone starts. The written quote is what governs the job, not this website. Nothing here is a contract until you have one in hand and you have said yes.
These terms apply to your use of petrapowersolutions.com, operated by Petra Power Solutions of Newtown, Pennsylvania, PA HIC #PA223446. They are about the website. The work itself is governed by the written proposal and contract you receive before any job begins — and if the two ever disagree, your signed contract wins.
Every price you see on this site is published as a range, on purpose. Exterior work is priced by what is actually in front of us: square footage, how much growth there is, the condition of the base, drainage, access, and the material involved. Two patios of identical size can price differently for good reasons.
So:
On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. Some work — patio maintenance and house washing in particular — can often be quoted from photos you text us, which saves everyone a trip.
Submitting the estimate form is a request, not a booking. A job is scheduled when we have confirmed it with you directly. We aim to reply within 24 hours; weekend slots fill first.
We accept cash, check, card, and Zelle. Larger projects take a deposit to lock the schedule and cover materials, with the balance due after you have walked the finished job and approved it. The specific deposit and payment terms for your project are set out in your written quote.
To do the work safely and well, we ask that you:
We treat your property carefully and we carry liability insurance for the times when care is not enough. But we cannot be responsible for damage arising from pre-existing conditions we were not told about and could not reasonably see — for example water entering through a window that was already failing.
Cleaning removes what is on a surface. It does not make an old surface new. Some things are permanent: deep rust, artillery fungus, oil that has soaked into porous stone, mineral staining, and colour that has faded from years of sun. Sealing enriches and protects, but it will not hide a crack or level a sunken paver.
We will tell you honestly, before we start, what we expect a surface to look like when we are done. We would rather talk you out of a job than have you disappointed by one.
Every job is done by the owner — the person who gave you the estimate is the person doing the work and walking the finished result with you. If something is not right, tell us while we are still there, or call afterwards, and we will make it right.
Specific guarantee terms for your project — what is covered and for how long — are stated in your written quote. Normal wear, weather, ground movement, damage from others, and lack of recommended maintenance are not covered.
This is outdoor work. Rain, freezing temperatures, and high wind affect both safety and results, particularly for sealing and soft washing. We may move your date for weather and will get you the next workable slot. We are not liable for delays outside our control.
Let us know as early as you can and we will release the slot without drama. For projects where materials have already been ordered or a crew day committed, cancellation terms are as stated in your written quote. Pennsylvania law also gives you cancellation rights on certain home improvement contracts; those rights are set out in your contract and are not limited by anything on this page.
The text, photographs, and design on this site are ours. Please do not copy them for a competing business. The "Ask Petra" chat is a convenience for answering common questions; it can be wrong, and nothing it says overrides a written quote or these terms. Please do not use the site or the chat to abuse the service, attempt to overload it, or send anything unlawful.
We keep the site up and accurate, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of every error. Prices, service descriptions, and availability can change without notice.
To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited. This does not limit any rights you have in connection with work we actually perform — those are governed by your contract, by our insurance, and by Pennsylvania law, none of which this page reduces.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. The terms in force are the ones published when you use the site. Your signed contract is never changed by an update to this page.
